Two persons, Sakiru Ibrahim, 19, and Saheed Folarin, have been arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court in Lagos, for stealing one Toshiba Laptop valued at N40,000.
They were said to have committed the offence at 23, Mabadaje Street in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Ibrahim and Folarin are facing a two-count charge of stealing. They pleaded not guilty when the charge was read to them.
Police prosecutor, Inspector Eranus Nnamonu, informed the court that the offence is punishable under Section 285 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.
Magistrate Abimbola Komolafe granted the accused persons bail in the sum of N20,000, with one surety and adjourned to January 15, 2015.
