The chaos which erupted in the National Assembly on Thursday, November 20 led to an assault on Senate President, David Mark.

The president was eventually able to escape the angry legislators and proceeded into the building to sue for peace.

Mark announced that the National Assembly would remain shut till Tuesday, November 25.
